Last year, we made an awesome one day event called "green day" to make the school aware of environmental topics and advertise our group and what we do. This year, we want to continue with such a successful day. Unlike last year, where the day consisted of presentations in the school aula and the selling of T shirts, we want to add a musical side to the day and have booths outside that relate to our theme of saving the environment, such as the organization "Weltwaerts"http://www.weltwaerts.de/index.html

Furthermore, this year's event will focus on not only bringing out the green spirit in the JFK School Community, but also reaching out to individuals and give them a chance to find ways they personally can make a change in the environment.
The day itself will be held on the 15th of June during the school day so that the event itself is mandatory for all students to attend.
Green Day will be bigger (we're including the Elementary School and the Droste Schule, plus all interested parents) and better- let's hope to make it a great success!
